Following a 2nd grade letter-writing campaign regarding global warming and the impact on our environment, a special community member responded with a very a generous donation to OTA. The donation enabled our students(now 3rd graders) and their parents to plant in our courtyard, in front of the school, and along the sidewalk. Landscaping with native pants and flowers helps lead to a healthy ecosystem! In addition, they have developed a butterfly way station and created butterfly art to hang in the courtyard. A special thanks go out to all of our 3rd graders, their parents, and especially Clark Acuna who has spent many hours improving the landscape in front of the school. Another great example of the OTA Family coming together to make our school the best!
