Education/Experience: Mrs. Rashad earned her Associates degree at Mt. San Jacinto College and studied Human Development at Cal State University San Marcos. While in college she worked for a nonprofit that served the needs of adults with developmental disabilities. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years, and volunteered in mainstream and special education classrooms. For the last couple years she has been an instructional aide, working to assist teachers, classrooms and individual students have their best day possible.

Hobbies: Mrs. Rashad loves spending time at the beach, watching movies, listening to old music, reading and painting. She most enjoys road trips and camping, but really "glamping" with her husband and two boys.

Favorite Book: Some of her favorite books include The Biography of Malcolm X by Alex Haley, The Shining by Stephen King, and Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Fun Fact: Mrs. Rashad dreams of "glamping" and exploring with her family for a year, in a van or RV, particularly along the Pacific Coastline.
