Notes from the Parent Foundation
A Sunday newsletter? I know, Friday was a trip back in time and I spent the full day Saturday recovering! Chaperoning was hard work.
If you are looking for an easy job, don't miss the note below, please bring a bottle of wine to donate at movie night and earn a free dress day! We need 30+ bottles for the gala and if we hit that goal we will earn a free dress day!
Back to the hard work, our 5th Graders were able to return to the overnight experience on the Star of India and it was a truly memorable experience! Little sleep, cold nights and hard floors, but, we learned how to navigate, learned some rope typing skills, came together as a class and just ask any of our 5th graders to demonstrate the Dragon Knot! I hope this is a cherished memories in the years to come.
Movie night is this Friday! So quiet up and listen down! Bring your chairs and blankets. We will be selling hotdogs, popcorn, snacks, glow bracelets, etc. Please come out and support us!
While you are there, we can help you buy your tickets and download the auction app so you are ready to battle! We are still in the early bird ticket sales, but prices go up on March 28, so buy early and get in on the auction, er, action!
Speaking of action, please also bring a bottle of wine to donate at movie night for the auction. We are planning a new fundraiser to incorporate at the Gala, a wine wall! Bring your favorite wine to donate. We are aiming to get at least 30 bottles at movie night. If we get 30 bottles, we will earn a free dress day for the school!
We are working on the online and live auction items and have some exciting packages coming. Teacher experiences will be coming out soon; your favorite teachers are curating special events just for you. We have some awesome gift and experience baskets and some really great destination packages!
As always, our volunteer opportunities are published here.
Thanks all and see you Friday!
